The Lasalle Mens Slowpitch League is looking for players.  Sunday mornings, no long weekends, and the beer's always cold.  18 years old and up so if you have sons interested, bring them out.  Midway's goalie, EJ Brunett, and Leo Prieur run the league.  If you want more info, then click this link and it will get to EJ.

PLAYOFF standings and stats are updated through Week 3.

In Pool II, Earthworks and Made-to-Shade played to a 2-2 tie.  Both teams finished with 5 points, number of wins and head-to-head didn't decide it, so goal differential broke the tie in favour of Earthworks.

In Pool I, Rock Harbour came back to tie Bodnar/Quimby with seconds left, and then won it in overtime. Rock Harbour and Midway tied with 2 wins each, but Rock Harbour wins the head-to-head tiebreaker so they get top spot in the pool.

In the semis and finals, there's overtime, and a shootout if necessary. Here's the playoffs page.

The $50 commitment fee for all FULL-TIME players is due some time during the playoffs.  You have to pay this to be considered for the next draft.

If you have a little time to kill, check this out.

Update thru Mar. 11 - Earthworks won over Preferred, and so did Made-to-Shade over Reaume.  Earthworks and Made-to-Shade have qualified for an A/B semi in week 4, and will battle it out for top spot in the pool in week 3.  Things are as tight as can be after 2 games in Pool I, with each team sitting 1-1.  The winners of week 3 games in Pool I will qualify for an A/B semi.  Beauchamp had 4 goals and 1 helper for Earthworks, Carnahan had 2 & 1, and Muzzin and Fedak had 1 & 2 for Stonescape.  Bartlett had 2 & 1 and Maxim had 1 & 2 for Midway, and Erickson had 1 & 2 for Made-to-Shade.  Chad Cunningham, Dan McGuire and Neil Reaume all share top honours in the sin bin after 2 games.

Update thru Mar. 4 - Some spirited hockey in week 1 of the playoffs.  Like most playoffs there were plenty of upsets to go around. Rock Harbour held on for the victory over Midway.  Bodnar/Quimby exploded for 11 against Stonescape, Made-to-Shade downed Preferred, and Earthworks beat Reaume.  Gingras had 1 & 5, Scarfe had 3 & 2, St. Pierre had the hattrick + 1 helper, and Quimby had 2 & 1 for Bodnar/Quimby.  Pouget had 1 & 2 for Earthworks.  Meloche and VanDeHogen share the GAA lead with a 2.00.
